Case 1  International Furniture Group

CHALLENGE.

Among 11 major China suppliers, 7 exist quality problems from time to time, a lot waste, and claim happens every month, angry Nordic client and frustrating China suppliers.

SOLUTION.

Review the quality failures, collecting info and data, made analysis and proposed solutions including set up clear standards and communicate their quality demands to the suppliers in an effective way. Foshan Viking helps the new China quality strategy, solutions and new tactics making, landed the plans, monitored the processes and improved.

RESULT.

In 18 months, the quality level have been significantly improved. The Nordic client knows how to plan-ask-have-control their supply chain quality in China.  Quality issues dramatically reduced, suppliers know how to meet the client requirements.

Case 2 New Production Site in China

CHALLENGE.

The client has more than 10% sales in APAC, but all products are imported from Nordic, which creates a very long lead time and slow technical service. The client wants to dramatically shorten the lead time and a closer service for their China & Asia clients, but the client doesn’t want a heavy investment in China.

SOLUTION.

We interview the management team and hold regular meetings with the key stake holders. With our professions in production, supply chain and customer services, understanding the local regulations, recommend an easy and cost saving solutions.

RESULT.

We help the client within 6 months set up their high standard new production and local service in Guangzhou. Leadtime reduced 90%, local service response in 1 day.

Case 3  Entrance China Markets

CHALLENGE.

A Nordic company start sought new Chinese customers, but had no formal representation in China or broad knowledge about the Chinese market. Don’t know what products select for China market at what price level.

SOLUTION.

After interviews internal and external, sufficient market survey, Foshan Viking proposed a Business Plan of 5 years, started representing the Nordic company in China by setting up a sales office and assisting in improving sales, producing local events and establishing relations with key officials and a TOP10 China sales partner.

RESULT.
